With a name like Beach, I’ve always felt a special responsibility to be a spokesperson for the natural world, especially the coasts, the oceans, and the communities connected to them.

So much of science findings are locked behind technical language and academic journals, leaving out the very people science often aims to serve. That’s where I come in.
